Stone Kitchen Island

A couple of weeks ago we had a little project done... we put stone on our kitchen island!  Well, we didn't do it, Carolina Equity Builders did it for us.  I had seen something similar on Pinterest and showed Brooks.  He loved it as much as I did.  So we talked to the builders to see if it could be done on our island, picked out stone, and it took them one day to install it!  Those are the kinds of projects I like!  Quick ones!  I love the texture that it adds and I also love that it's a little something different from everyone else's house!  The back sides (the 2 sides that face the other cabinets are all cabinets in the island) and then the two sides that you see and the far left side are the stone.  Here's how it turned out...

Hi! The brown color is Stone Lion by Sherwin Williams. We got the pendant lights from Lee Lighting. I'm not sure of the manufacturer. If I figure it out I'll post on here! And yes, it's a David Weekly home!

If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for the stone on the island? My husband and I have talked about doing this to our current bare island. I showed him this picture and he said, "Yes, that's it!"
